Setup an Email Account in Mozilla Thunderbird
- Start Mozilla Thunderbird
- Click on File then select New then select Account
- Choose Email Account and click the Next button
- Enter your name (or email accounts name – e.g. accounts, admin) and then enter your email address. Click the Next button.
- Ensure POP is selected. Enter mail.insilico.com.au into the incoming server field. For the outgoing server enter the address for your internet service provider. If you do not have this information please contact your ISP (i.e. iinet, Bigpond etc.)
- Enter your email username as provided by insilico TM
- Enter the name you would like to identify the account as (we recommend leaving this as the email address)
- Thunderbird will now attempt to connect to the server and will prompt for your password. Enter the password as provided by insilico TM and click the Password Manager check box before proceeding.
