Setup an Email Account in Outlook 2007
- Start Microsoft Outlook 2007
- Select Tools from the main menu at the top of the page. A drop down menu list will appear.
- Click on Account Settings from this menu list. A small window will open with information on the email accounts setup within Outlook 2007.

- Click on the New… button. Another small window will open.
- Select the Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTML option and click the Next button.
- Click on the Manually configure server settings and additional server types check box at the bottom of the window. Click the Next button.
- Select the Internet Email option and click the Next button.
- Enter the name of the user of this email account (e.g. John Doe, Admin).
- Enter the email address of this email account (e.g. admin@testcompany.com).
- Select POP3 from the account type drop down box.
- Enter mail.insilico.com.au into the incoming mail server field.
- For the outgoing mail server, you must place the address provided to you by your Internet Server Provider (ISP). The ISP is the company that you bill to receive your internet connection. The following is a list of some of the ISP outgoing server address’s within Australia. If your ISP is not listed here, please contact them for support.
- iinet – mail.iinet.net.au
- OptusNet – mail.optusnet.com.au
- Telstra BigPond – mail.bigpond.com
- AAPT – mail.aapt.net.au
- iPrimus – smtp.iprimus.com.au
- Enter the user name of this account given to you by insilicoTM.
- Enter the password of this account given to you by insilicoTM.

- Click the Test Account Settings button to test if the email account is working correctly. If the test does not work, please contact insilico for further help.

- If the test works, click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button to complete the setup.
- Close the Email Accounts window. Your new email account inbox should be visible within the folder structure in the left column.
