Got system problems? Solve them with a service agreement!
Earlier this year o’neill.software introduced a new product … er service … er offering; the Service Agreement.
With every system and piece of software we develop we offer a 30 day defects-fixed-free guarantee. Find a defect in our code and we’ll fix it at no additional charge!
"So why only 30 days" I hear you ask. A good question!
By the time we commission your project, we have moved on to the next piece of work and all those thoughts we had in our heads about your system, and how you work, are steadily being replaced with new thoughts about someone else’s systems, and how they work.
"“Fair enough – but why do I want a service agreement?"
Another good question, and an easy one to answer: for piece of mind!
Western Australia is in the grip of a mining boom at the moment, and one of the great benefits of this boom is that companies everywhere are having a very successful time. As a result all those computer projects that got shelved (so that everyone could afford the Y2K bug fixes) are once more seeing the light of day.
What that means here at o'neill.software is that we are busier than we have ever been, and here’s where the service agreement benefits you, our valued client: when you invest in one of our service agreements you are actually buying guaranteed response times, in spite of our increased workload.
Our standard service agreement promises next business day response to your support call as the worst possible case! In many instances your call may be responded to on the same day.
We are also currently looking at providing 4 and 2 hour response time service agreements, as well as weekend support, and a "drop-everything-and-get-over-here" agreement (with a price tag to match) for those organisations needing that extra level of security.
In fact, why don’t YOU tell us what you want: is a next business day service agreement sufficient? Or do you need something that is more responsive? Or perhaps coverage over all or part of the weekend? Or 24-7 coverage?
"And if I have a problem and I don’t have a service agreement?"
Well, given the amount of business we are currently involved in, it might be a few days or even a week before one of our team gets back to you just to see what’s wrong – so if your business is dependent on our systems, consider this like an insurance policy to make sure everything continues to run smoothly, and in a timely fashion.
