Have you ever thought about the colours used on websites that you visit?

There is a whole psychology behind colours. For example:

Red = energy, passion, excitement, power but it can also imply aggression and danger
Blue = coolness, spirituality, freedom, patience, loyalty, peace, trustworthiness but it can imply sadness and depression. Have you ever heard of Corporate Blue? It is a common term in the web industry
Yellow = light, optimism, happiness, brightness, joy
Green = life, naturalness, restfulness, health, wealth, prosperity but in certain contexts it can imply decay and toxicity

Sometimes colours create a physical reaction (red has been shown to raise blood pressure) and at other times it is a cultural reaction (in Western cultures white is for weddings, in some Eastern cultures, white is the color for mourning and funerals). Colours follow trends as well.
