Are Your Domain Registration Details Up To Date?

Many people register a domain, especially small businesses and sole traders, using whatever email address they have at the time – typically, this is the email address you got from your Internet Provider e.g. johns@hotmail.com.

And this is one of the most important contact details to keep up to date unless you want your domain whipped out from under your feet, or worse!
In the past we have had occasions where obsolete contact email addresses for domain renewals caused problems for our clients.

In the one case, our client had no email for a week so his clients and suppliers had to constantly call him on his mobile as he is usually away from the office. Most inconvenient for him and them.

Another case was even worse; their email and their website disappeared without a trace. Lucky for them no one registered their domain in that short period that it was expired.

All of this could have been avoided by keeping these details up to date as domain renewal notices are automatically sent out a month or so prior to your domain expiring.
